Introduction

I came up with an idea to challenge myself both physically and mentally. I will do a specific amount of strength building exercises every day. To make it truly challenging, the amount will grow bigger every day. The increase rate is 0,17% of the basic amount (not the amount of previous day). The numbers' growth will be linear to make this more bearable in a long run. I chose four exercises with such starting amounts.:

  1. Push ups - 20
  2. Sit ups - 30
  3. Squats - 40
  4. Rising 5kg dumbbells by my side with arms straight - 20

At such rates, I'll be doing about 45 push ups in a week. To make it doable, I'll allow myself to do half or quarter by time. I just need to get everything done before I go to sleep.

I wonder how long will I last. After a month, I'd need to do 30 push ups four times a day. Everything will be noted in a MS Exel file, which I'll upload for the summary

This challenges me both physically and mentally. Physically - in the obvious way. Mentally because to keep going despite the increasing difficulty requires high amounts of self discipline.

I'll write down how difficult I find the experience, how motivated I feel and all the unusual things that happen.
