About the site

This site contains information about variety of topics connected with personal development and parapsychology. Most of the content is written in an unusual way. I make a few tweaks in my lifestyle, e.g. new diet and write daily logs about how it works out. There are also some articles that contain pure knowledge, if that's what you prefer.

Genesis

I've been interested in psychic abilities for 3 year from the moment site went online. 1 year of interest in personal development. The real growth didn't start in my life until few months ago though. I was thinking about storing my experiences somewhere. I felt a need for some kind of diary.

I was quite scared about the website idea though. I had no clue about HTML and I wasn't a good writer. About a month ago, I started to seriously think about getting some stable stream of income. I'm moving out to Cracow in two years to continue my education. I'd sure need some money then.

The thought alone of becoming an employee scared me. My reasons and some additional ones can be found here ;). The idea of website crossed my mind again. I rejected the idea once more. Building a high traffic website sounded a bit overwhelming.

Finally, at 2nd of January, I've been reading Steve Pavlina's daily logs of "30 days raw trial" and the idea of such logs just got stuck in my head. I saw a way that I couldn't see before. The idea of site returned and I knew I was ready. I did some planning, did some learning and finally did some writing. It wasn't nearly as bad as it looked from the outside.

Why Fatechooser? Until the recent spiritual growth, I felt like living in a dream. Once I "awakened", I really liked the process of making conscious decision instead of letting my body's instincts choose my fate. The real, conscious choice comes from higher self, something beyond your body and mind.

Purpose

The true purpose of this site is to help myself and others grow. To keep myself highly motivated. And to pay a few bills once I get away from my parents ;). I'll do my best to make this site fulfill it's purpose.

Form

Why did I choose a website instead of a blog? Why daily logs of experiences instead of typical article or bloglike content?

I'll constantly be doing some tweaks in my life. I want to describe the process as detailed as possible. It's like a memory booster, which everyone can access.

Thing I don't like about a blog most is that posts are more dependant on time than category. It's based on frequent updates and reading new posts. I want my site to have a more timeless character. Stuff from year back should be as accessible as recent ones.

Blog would be like putting all veggies into one big soup. Readers and myself would have to "fish" the info with a spoon. It's quite a frustrating process. I think making such archives will be very helpful once the number of experiences gets big.

Such form suits both myself and readers. I have detailed, daily updated descriptions for myself to save the memory of how it worked out and shorter forms of Introduction and Summary for readers to have only vital information of whole experience on plate.

Articles section stores pure, impersonal and timeless knowledge. I'll write articles about what I learned from experiences for clarity.

I'll set up some rules about details of form. I won't post an update of experiment until it hits 1000 words at the end of day. It should keep it clearer. When I use a term with controversial definition, I'll usually link it with definition in terminology section or write a few words to explain what I mean.
